Mid-Day Supervisory Assistants (MDSA)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed MDSA to join our team of forward-thinking, energetic and creative staff.


The successful candidate will have a flexible approach, be willing to take on new ideas and initiatives and will have the following qualities:

Teaching Assistant/MDSA x 2

We are looking for two enthusiastic and highly committed Teaching Assistants/ MDSAs to join our forward-thinking staff team. One of the posts is in our EYFS team and we would welcome applications with experience or expertise in this year group. Working in EYFS, Key Stage (KS) 1 or 2, the successful candidates will:

  • have a flexible approach, be willing to take on new ideas and use your initiative
  • have excellent interpersonal skills, be keen to learn, a hard worker and team-player
  • have the energy and creativity to make individual and small group learning experiences challenging and supportive of rapid progress to enable children to reach their full potential
  • have high aspirations, be highly motivated, and enjoy the privilege of working with all children, across the age range, helping them to succeed
  • have excellent literacy and numeracy skills

Working with the support of qualified teachers you will:

  • provide learning opportunities to meet the needs of individual learners, working with them 1:1 throughout the day
  • lead small group activities to enhance the knowledge and skills of groups of learners who face similar challenges 
  • lead, assess and record the outcomes of interventions to evidence impact of and inform next steps, in discussion with the teacher

These roles involve working as a general TA and as one to one support with individual children at
different points during the day. Experience of both would be an advantage
