Brunswick Primary School

Enjoy, Exceed, Excel

Dear Neighbour,

Brunswick Primary School is currently working with Brighton & Hove City Council School Travel Team, parents, teachers, and governors to produce a School Travel Plan. A School Travel Plan looks at how pupils/families/staff travel to and from school, and sets out aims and activities to address issues, including:

  • Establishing measures for reducing the number of car trips made to school by parents/carers and staff, and increase cycling and walking to school
  • Improving safety on the 'school run' and at the school gates
  • Improving the traffic and parking situations at the school gates for parents/carers, staff, and residents alike
  • Improving health and fitness of the entire school community

To help develop the School Travel Plan, schools ask pupils and their parents/carers, as well as staff, to complete a short travel survey.

We also want to include those who live close to our school in the production of the Travel Plan, and we would be very grateful if you could answer the following questions about the traffic and parking situations around our school.

This is your chance to put forward your opinions and experiences. The survey should take about 5 minutes to complete. The survey is anonymous and its results will be used in the preparation of the School Travel Plan. However, if you wish us to contact you directly in order to discuss a particular issue, please do leave your contact details at the end of the survey and a member of the School Travel team will be in touch.

Please click on this link to access the survey: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/QFCXMGV

If you know someone who is affected by these issues and would be interested in filling the survey, feel free to share the link. We would be very grateful if responses could reach us by the end of October.

If you have any questions about the survey, please fill in the form below. Thank you.
